Why do I need to be saved?
God’s standard is perfection, in thoughts and actions, and no one is perfect except JESUS! All sins, great and small, must be punished by death, and JESUS, our perfect sacrifice, was willing to die as payment for everyone’s sins (Hebrews 10:14;Romans 6:23). Jesus died for our sins and gave us victory over death through His resurrection because He loves us. All you have to do is BELIEVE in Jesus and RECEIVE His FREE gift of salvation so you can have eternal life instead of eternal suffering (John 3:16).
The one sacrifice of Jesus, the Christ, set us free from sin forever when we accept His sacrifice. Hebrews 10:14
The payment for sin is death, but through Jesus, the Christ, we can have the FREE gift of eternal life. Romans 6:23
God loved the sinners of this world so much that He gave His only Son, Jesus, so that everyone who believes in Jesus will have eternal life. John 3:16
God intended for people to live forever, but Adam and Eve sinned and allowed the curse of death to everyone in this world.
Adam sinned, and that sin brought death into the world. Now everyone has sinned, and so everyone must die. Romans 5:12
Everyone was going to be punished because Adam sinned. But because of the death of Jesus, the Christ, God accepts us and gives us the gift of eternal life. Adam disobeyed God and caused many others to be sinners. But Jesus obeyed God and all who believe in Him will be made righteous to God. Romans 5:18-19
