Why do I need to be saved? God’s Standard is Perfection
God’s standard is perfection, in thoughts and actions, and no one is perfect except JESUS! All sins must be punished by death whether they are great or small. BUT JESUS, our perfect sacrifice, was willing to die as payment for everyone’s sins (Hebrews 10:14;Romans 6:23). Jesus died for our sins and gave us victory over death through His resurrection because He loves us. All you have to do is BELIEVE in Jesus and RECEIVE His FREE gift of salvation so you can have eternal life instead of eternal suffering (John 3:16).
Why do I need to be saved? Adam Sinned
God intended for people to live forever, but the serpent deceived Adam and Eve (Genesis 3). They doubted God and fell for the tricks of the serpent (aka devil). They ate from tree of knowledge of good and evil which brought sin and death to everyone in this world, so everyone must die. (Romans 5:12). Everyone would have to pay for their own sins with death because of Adam, BUT JESUS, the Christ, died for us! Adam disobeyed God and brought sin and death, BUT JESUS obeyed God and brought righteousness and eternal life!
18 Everyone was going to be punished because Adam sinned. But because of the good thing that Christ has done, God accepts us and gives us the gift of life. 19 Adam disobeyed God and caused many others to be sinners. But Jesus obeyed him and will make many people acceptable to God.

Why do I need to be saved? Avoid Eternal Suffering
There IS “life” after death. Everyone will spend eternity with Jesus or with the devil who deceived them. An eternity with Jesus will be amazing and Heavenly, but eternity with the devil will be torture day and night.
Heaven: God will wipe all tears from their eyes, and there will be no more death, suffering, crying, or pain. These things of the past are gone forever. (Revelation 21:4)
Hell: The devil who had deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur where the beast and the false prophet were, and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever. (Revelation 20:10)
