When Will the World End?
No one knows, not even angels in Heaven, the day and hour when Heaven and Earth will pass away. But, based on the signs of the end times in Matthew 24 and Luke 21, and the 7,000-year timeline, I believe Christians have less than 10 years left and will be gone from Earth by ~2033.
Signs of the End Times
Matthew 24 and Luke 21 tell us that some of the signs of the end times are:
- False Christs
- Wars and rumors of wars
- Famines
- Plagues
- Earthquakes
Throughout history, we have experienced all of these signs of the end times, but they are happening more often and growing in intensity like labor pains just as the Bible predicted. Also, hatred for Christians and Jews is rising and love for one another is growing cold.
The 7,000 Year Timeline
The Bible is an eternal LOVE story detailing 7,000 years of mankind’s time on the current Earth. The events of the Bible date back to around 4000 BC based on genealogies and secular history. The ~2,000 years between the last book of the Bible, Revelation, and present day, is well-documented in history books. From 4000 BC to 2023 (Present Day) is a total of approximately 6,000 years. The last 1,000 years will happen AFTER the Great Tribulation when believers get to live with Jesus in peace. So, based on the signs of the end times and the 7,000 year timeline, the end times are coming soon and after the 1,000 years of peace with Jesus, a new Earth and a new Heaven will be created (Revelation 21).
A day is like 1,000 years and 1,000 years is like a day with the Lord. (2Peter 3:8)
6 Days of Creation are like the 6,000 years from ~4000 BC until the End Times.
1 Day of Rest after Creation is like the 1,000 years of peace when Jesus reigns AFTER the Great Tribulation (Rev 20:1-4).
