7 Steps to Victory

7 Steps to Victory Prayer
Lord, I need help. Thank You for listening and giving me peace.
I’m struggling but I know I can do what I need to do with Christ’s power.
I pray others will change, but I need to focus on changing myself.
Help me focus on You and Your word instead of my circumstances.
I don’t like what is happening but I know You will do something good.
Give me wisdom to show I believe You by getting ready to receive.
Help me use my time wisely as I seek Your will. In Jesus’ name I pray.
From Victim to Victor in Every Trial
Use the 7 Steps to Victory as a guideline to draw near to God when you need help. Develop a personal relationship with God and Jesus, so you can have victory in your relationships, health and finances.
- V – Voice Concerns to God – Instead of talking to imperfect people about your issues, talk to our perfect God because He loves you and He knows exactly what you need.
- Don’t worry. Pray, give thanks & God will offer peace. (Philippians 4:6-7)
- I – I CAN thru Christ – As a Christian you have Holy Spirit power, so exercise your authority by speaking the Word to your “mountain” in the name of Jesus.
- I can do all things thru Christ who strengthens me. (Philippians 4:13)
- C – Change ME – You can’t change other people, but God can. We all have room for improvement and if we focus on our issues, God will deal with others.
- Don’t blame others until you examine yourself. (Matthew 7:5)
- T – Tune into God’s Word – God is speaking to us all the time through His Word, sermons, wise counsel and that still, small voice, so slow down, be quiet and listen.
- Meditate on God’s Word to be blessed and prosperous. (Psalm 1:1-3)
- O – Overcome with Optimism – No matter what is happening right now, it is temporary and something good CAN come from it IF you have faith in God.
- God works things together for good if you love Him. (Romans 8:28)
- R – Ready to Receive – As a pregnant woman prepares for the arrival of her baby, show God you believe by preparing for the birth of your “baby”.
- What you ask in prayer, believe and you will receive. (Matthew 21:22)
- Y – Yield to God’s Will and Timing – Waiting on a situation to be resolved does not mean inactivity. Keep doing what you know to do until God gives you new insight.
- Use time wisely and understand the Lord’s will. (Ephesians 5:15-21)
